Water running in your home from your window is a sure sign that your window is leaking. Well, unless you have the window open and it is raining outside, then you should just close the window. But if the window is not open and you can’t figure out where the water is coming from, you have a problem.And all joking aside, seeing water come in your home through your windows is actually a very serious problem. 1. The wall around the window feels wet or has water stains.

3. There is mold or mildew growing along the edges of the window, and in the crevices of any moveable or working parts around the window.
4. The paint on the window sill is starting to peel off.

What Do You Do If You Find Any Of This Damage?As soon as you start seeing any of these signs it is time to call in a professional.First, they need to assess how extensive the damage is. Is there serious damage to the interior of the wall? Has the water damaged the frame of the home?Second, they need to find out exactly where the water is coming from.
