A nook is basically just a section of the room that is sectioned away from the main part by either making that small sectioned recessed from the rest of the room or creating noticeable barrier.The most noticeable and brightest breakfast nook is where the part of the kitchen where the nook will be is pushed out from the kitchen and the walls are completely made of glass windows. It is something like an enclosed porch, and can even have a patio door leading to the outside, but the nook is much smaller and is usually just big enough for a table to eat at.Also, even though a breakfast nook is part of a kitchen, it can be listed as a separate entity when listing a house for sale.
