Energy-Efficient Glass Packages and Technologies

All our windows come with energy-efficient glass that results in more savings. Your options include:

• High-Performance™ Low-E4® – Our basic glass package offers 45% efficiency during winter and 56% in summer. It can also block up to 83% of harmful UV rays.
• High-Performance Low-E4 SmartSun™ – This offers the highest efficiency rating in cool weather and works best in areas with hot climates. Compared with ordinary dual-paned glass, this is 47% more efficient in winter and 70% efficient in summer. It can also protect your furniture from fading, as it blocks up to 95% of UV rays.
• High-Performance Low-E4 Sun – This has the highest rating against solar heat gain, keeping your home cool even during warm weather.

We use stainless steel spacers, double glazing, argon gas, and dual seals to make your double hung windows, and other styles, more energy-efficient. We also ensure proper installation that involves sealing gaps with insulation foam.

Durable Fibrex® Frames

We use our composite material to make long-lasting and durable window frames. Fibrex does not rot, peel, corrode, or require painting or scraping. It also has insulating features on par with wood. Due to Fibrex’s strength, we can make narrower frames that result in a larger glass area.

Fibrex frames also contribute to a greener environment. Of Fibrex’s weight, 10% of the raw material is reclaimed wood fiber. This means that our windows have met the Green Seal and ENERGY STAR® certifications.
